Refaat Ahmed

Born in 1931 and passing away in 2012, the Egyptian artist pursued independent art studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1959. Subsequently, he joined the Fine Artists Syndicate and initially worked in the railway industry and later for Egyptian TV before committing himself entirely to his artistic pursuits. He showcased his work in 17 solo exhibitions within Egypt and also displayed his art internationally in countries such as Syria, Yugoslavia, Paris, Dakar, and Iraq.
