Halim Habashy

Painter

Halim Habashy was born in 1931 in Cairo, Egypt. Habashy was an Egyptian modern painter. In 1954, he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo with BFA in painting. Habashy worked simultaneously until his passing in 2012.

Akin to his bucolic nature, the modern painter was intrigued by observing the subtle elements that shaped life, human connections, and his surrounding environment. He modelled his observations into varied-in-size oil paintings defined with soft brush strokes and compositions.

Despite not ardently exhibiting his paintings, Halim’s works are held at remarkable auction houses most notable of which is Chriswick.
