Rania Abu El Azm

Painter

Rania Abu Elazm is an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, specializing in painting. She holds a master’s degree in the field and has been actively contributing to the contemporary art scene for over two decades.

Her artistic journey includes participation in numerous group exhibitions from 2003 to 2018, both in Egypt and internationally, including in Kuwait. She held her solo exhibition, Line x Color, in 2015, showcasing her distinctive approach to form and composition.

Recognized for her contributions to the arts, Abu Elazm has received multiple awards, including honors from Helwan University and the Society of Fine Art Lovers (2004–2010), the Port Said Biennale (2009), and the General Display Award at the 27th Youth Salon (2016). She also exhibited at the 38th and 39th General Exhibitions (2016, 2017), the 28th Youth Salon (2017), the White-Black Salon (2017), and the 58th Cairo Salon (2018). Her work was also featured in the Heritage Revival exhibition at the French University in Cairo.
