El Maadawy’s art possesses a unique and captivating flavor as its elements interweave and flow with the transparency of his watercolors, in which he demonstrated unparalleled expression using simple colors. His artworks depict Egyptian tales with a decorative inclination, influenced by his studies at the decorative high school. Deliberately employing the style of colored silhouettes, he created worlds that blend reality and myth, conveying simplicity and depth.
