Shereen El Baroudy is a renowned Egyptian artist with a strong background in painting and drawing. She graduated from the Faculty of Art Education in 2003, earned her Master’s degree in Painting and Drawing, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in the same field.
El Baroudy has proudly represented Egypt in numerous local and international exhibitions and festivals, showcasing her work across France, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, Ireland, Slovakia, Libya, and Saudi Arabia. She is a three-time Youth Salon Award winner and has received prestigious accolades, including the Port Said Biennale 2011, the Second Southern Egypt Luxor Award 2014, and the First Salon of Alexandria’s Terracina Gallery 2015.
Her work is part of several permanent collections, including the Suez Canal Museum, the Contemporary Art Museum in Cairo, the Book Museum in Romania, and the National Museum in Addis Ababa.
El Baroudy’s abstract compositions are marked by dynamic mixed media techniques, blending bold strokes and expressive textures. Drawing inspiration from nature and psychological introspection, her paintings radiate a sense of energy and movement, captivating viewers with their vibrant intensity.
