“Spread your wings” is all about women and women’s empowerment.
Supporting women in their struggles, whether they are societal struggles, familial, gender-based, or just people trying to pull them down.
To all these women, I say don’t let anyone hold you down or stop you from reaching your full potential. Cut the ropes and free yourselves from the chains. Don’t let anyone get away with telling you that you’re not enough or that there’s anything that you’re not capable of doing. Don’t let anyone put you in a box and think that that’s where you belong. There is no limit to what you can do, so reach for the moon and catch the stars. You have to believe in yourself and make those wings grow. Take flight and break all the ties that hold you back or down, cut them loose, and reach for the sky, because the sky is the limit. Fly and support others to fly with you above the clouds. Climb that tree climb that ladder, follow that dream, follow the birds, and grow your own wings. No strings attached; the only strings allowed are those pulling us up to our deserved destiny.
Amidst all the chaos in the world, there is always a way out, always a solution to any problem, so find it and fly. Don’t let the world or anyone drown you in problems or feelings of defeat and inadequacies; teach yourself to swim and rise above them all.
Like women, wings come in different shapes and sizes. “Spread your wings” is about supporting all women to be themselves and to grow… to conquer and overcome all obstacles, whether they are people, circumstances, or your own insecurities. Everyone can realize their dream, we just need to unchain ourselves from the negativity surrounding us.
