Abdel Moniem Motawaah, born in Kafr El Sheikh in 1935, is a celebrated figure in Egypt’s art and literary landscape. With a lifelong passion for creativity, he has made his mark not only as an artist but also as a poet and playwright, leaving a lasting legacy in both the visual and literary arts.

Motawaah’s artistic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Alexandria University in 1963. His thirst for knowledge and mastery led him to the Luxor Academy for Graduate Studies, where he earned a master’s degree in 1966. This strong academic foundation greatly influenced his distinctive artistic style and multidisciplinary pursuits.

Throughout his career, Motawaah has held numerous comprehensive exhibitions across Egypt, showcasing his exceptional talent and creative vision. He is also known for his impressive murals, which add a dynamic dimension to his portfolio. His work has been recognized with various local awards, affirming his contribution to Egypt’s cultural and artistic heritage.
