Maisoun El Zorba

Sculptor

Maisoun El Zorba is an Egyptian Sculptor.

Her birthplace was Alexandria. Graduated from the Open Air Sculpture Division of the Sculpture Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts. She took part in several exhibitions and forums (both domestically and internationally). The majority of El-works Zorba’s are based on the elements of the person and the bird. This would be accomplished by manipulating many combined blocs, such as stability and movement, relaxation and tension, attraction and repulsion, and variety and harmony of the movement axes.

Then, there would be variances in many directions, which would then affirm the values of kinetic rhythm in the surrounding space, in its many manifestations, whether it be exterior around the block, or a space within the fabric and system of surface’s development that contains the sculptural mass.
