Samar Magdy

Born in 1988, Samar Magdy is a celebrated Egyptian artist known for her mastery in sculpture. She earned her Master’s Degree in 2015 and has actively participated in numerous exhibitions and workshops. Her talent has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Adam Henein Award (Third Prize) in 2018, First Sculpture Prize at the Arab Islamic Society Symposium in 2017, and The Oscars Silver Award at the First Middle East International Salon of Arts in 2012. She has also received multiple accolades between 2014 and 2018.

Through her work, Magdy explores form, material, and abstraction, contributing to the contemporary Egyptian art scene with a distinctive sculptural language.
