“Epypt our Homeland” is a nostalgic cry for the Egypt that we know. A wake up call for everyone to lay aside our differences and disputes then walk together holding hands towards one common goal; building our beloved Egypt … for if we don t, no one else will. So let us work to turn a new page in Egyption history.
This new spirit in Egypt is expressed through portraits of men and women, young and old, from the Delta to Nubia and from Siwa to Sinai; each with a palette of colors reflecting our present reality and our dreams for the future.
A poor Family sitting against a wall on which is written “El Hamdolellak”, a stunningly beautiful young lady imerging from a lotus pond, on innoscent child from Siwa, a vigorous Nubian Youth,
A man from Abydos offering us tea, sunrise on the Eastern habor in Alexandria, children at play in Upper Egypt…
These and more are images you will see at Fadel’s exhibition.
