Born in Benha in 1972, Abdelmoaty graduated with high honours from the Faculty of Specific Education within Benha University in 1995. He subsequently completed his MA degree in Inlaying in Ancient Egyptian Sculpting as well as his PhD in Contemporary Egyptian Sculpting
