Kamal El Feki is an Egyptian sculptor whose practice delves into the essence of human existence, the silent struggles, desires, and inner dialogues that shape the self. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University (Sculpture Department, 2006), he completed his studies with honors, first order, setting the foundation for a career grounded in sensitivity and form. An active member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists in Cairo, El Feki’s journey bridges Egypt’s timeless artistic legacy with a contemporary exploration of emotion and material. In 2016, he joined the Accademia d’Egitto in Rome, and later pursued advanced studies at the Accademia di Belle Artidi Carrara, immersing himself in Italy’s sculptural heritage. Since 2007, El Feki has taken part in numerous national and international exhibitions, sharing his work across Egypt, Europe, and the Middle East. His sculptures marked by both strength and vulnerability invite reflection on
the invisible forces that drive human behavior. He has received several awards for excellence, including the Cairo Salon Award (2013), the Alexandria Biennale Award (2014), and the Egyptian National Award for Creativity (2016). His works are held in public and private collections, among them the Open Museum in Aswan, CIB Bank, and various collectors in Egypt, France, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Italy. Kamal El Feki lives and works between Egypt and Italy, continuing to shape matter into meaning transforming bronze and stone into
meditations on the human soul.
