Al-Zaeem Ahmed
Al-Zaeem was born in Sohag in 1977, and in 2001 he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Ganoub Al Wadi.
He was a teaching assistant at the Academy of Art and Design (the Higher Institute of Applied Arts). He has taken part in several local and international group exhibits, as well as numerous creative events and forums, such as the Egyptian International Triennial for Graphic Art, third and fourth sessions in 1999, the Egyptian Cultural Week in Cyprus, and the Mediterranean Biennial in Tunis.
He won first prize for graphics in the 14th session of the Youth Salon in 2002, the drawing prize from the forty-second Talaeaa Exhibition (Association of Fine Arts Lovers) in 2002, the Fine Arts Sector Prize in Painting in the Sixth Salon of Small Artworks in 2003, and the first prize in the forty-seventh Talaeaa Exhibition (Fine Arts Lovers Society) in 2007.
