In this time of a global pandemic, we have all been forced to stop everything. On some levels, it is a disaster, yet on another level, I feel I have had the opportunity for reflection. I went to my beautiful Eden of forty years, green and lush with my mosaic projects adorning many walls. In this environment of stillness and nature, as the energies of the world are holding their breath, I started painting with free-flowing paint, allowing surprises to arise. I felt a need to put some rhythm and sanity to this time I felt I needed to add my mosaics into the sceneries. The meditative act of placing the small tiles is a stabilising and peaceful process .Adding the many mirrored bits, reflecting and bringing in the light, which is my wish at this time.
