Nashaat Al-Alousi is an Iraqi artist who studied in France. He Studied at Bozart Academy in 1971. He also studied at vancan Academy in 1975.
He has worked as a portrait artist at Charlset gallery in France, then as a manager for the art section in the ministry of culture and information ministry. Al-Alousi has worked as a painter in Alf. Ba magazine and a painter in Dar Thalqafit Al Atfal in Iraq. He was a member of the Artist Union. First drawn for sports public in Iraq.
“Realism” was the closest artistic school to his heart in the beginning, but after years of artistic experience, he turned to modern art and other schools, he believes that realism restricts the artist’s spirit, as it prevents him from expressing himself, yet the subjects of his artworks impose on him the artistic style.
He won so many awards like Baghdad World Exhibition, First Prize for 3 Consecutive Years, in Baghdad, Iraq, the Achievement Award received at the Gorgon International Festival, Baghdad, Iraq, Achievement Award received at the Pinelli Exhibition, Sharjah, U.A.E. He held many exhibitions in Iraq, Lebanon, UAE, France, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and England.
